David Wetherington of Abilene passed away Tuesday, August 3,2021. A Memorial Service will be held at North's Funeral Home Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 11a.m. David was born March 27th 1982 to Jim and Elena Wetherington in Mena, Arkansas. As David came into his own as an adult, he became versed in many of life's adventures before truly finding his calling here in Abilene becoming a husband and a father. David found true joy in tinkering with his hands, taking apart and putting back together all that he could. He had the ability to make extreme and beautiful music both instrumentally and in the hearts of others. David leaves behind his wife Kristin and 2 daughters Celeste and River.
