Deanie Blaine 54 of Abilene mother of three and devoted grandmother of two passed away Monday December 15 2008. Services will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange. She was born and raised in Abilene. She attended Abilene High School and Western Texas College of Nursing. Nursing was Deanie's passion having spent many years at Coronado Nursing Center and previously at Serenity House. She loved to help those who could not help themselves. Deanie volunteered to work on holidays so those with families and children could spend time together. She was preceded in death by her parents Ken and Elva Dean and C.I. Russell and brothers Michael Russell and John Dean. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Hollingshead and husband Kevin of Round Rock Texas and her sons Ben Blaine and wife Lacey of Merkel and Will Blaine of San Angelo brother James Dean of Cisco two grandchildren Cody and Jordan Hollingshead both of Round Rock Texas.
