Deborah Lynn Diaz was born on October 30, 1963, in Abilene, Texas, to Cecil and Doris Pointer. She attended Abilene High School and married Jessie "JD" Diaz on July 7, 1983, in Abilene. Deborah was a devoted wife and a loving mother, and her grandchildren were her world. She always had a smile on her face, very caring, had the biggest heart, and took others in need into her home no questions asked. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil & Doris Pointer; her sister, Shirley Pointer; and her in-laws, Felipe & Carmen Diaz. Deborah Diaz is lovingly survived by her husband of 41 years, JD Diaz of Abilene, TX; son, Danny Diaz, his children Jackson Diaz, Taylor Diaz, and Kash Diaz of Conroe, TX; son, Brandon "Bam" Diaz, his children, Anthony Diaz and Madden Diaz of Abilene, TX; daughter, Rose Diaz, her children, Jazmine Diaz and Jordan Diaz of Abilene, TX; and is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 15th, 6-8PM at North's Funeral home at 242 Orange St, Abilene, TX 79601. Funeral services will be Monday September 16th at 11:00 am at North's Funeral Home preceded by burial at Tye Cemetery (Morgan Street in Tye Texas). Pallbearers are Jackson Diaz, Mike Diaz, Josh Diaz, TJ Diaz, Johnny Ray Diaz, & Keke Balanciere. Honorary pallbearers: Anthony Diaz, Madden Diaz, & Kash Diaz
