Deborah Alene Young was born in Okinawa, Japan to Richard and Dixie McNally on September 5, 1965. She attended school there and in several locations due to Richard's military career. In 1981, she received her GED in Abilene, Texas and married Douglas Mayfield on October 5th. They had three children before divorcing in 1991. She married Michael Hughes later in 1991. Together, they took in and raised two more children. They divorced in 2008. On October 31, 2010, Deborah married her life long friend, Roger Young. Deborah spent most of her life working in the telecommunications field. She was most proud of the years she spent as a 911 dispatcher for the Abilene and Albuquerque police departments. She was a proud supporter of all service areas including military, emergency services, and social services. Deborah devoted her life to family and helping others. Deborah was preceded in death by her father Richard McNally, sister Patricia Webb, and sister-in-law Melinda (Mindy) McNally. Deborah is survived by her husband, Roger Young, daughter Dixie Wharton and husband David Wharton, Daughter Desirae Butler and husband Carl Butler, son Daniel Mayfield and wife Jennifer Mayfield, Son George Rydens and husband Ian Hakenson, Daughter Christina Young, Brother Stephen McNally, Brother Robert McNally and wife Deanna McNally, Brother Brian McNally and wife Debra McNally, grandchildren Hannah Dennisson, John Dennisson, Mackenzie Codini, Kaitlyn Mayfield, Natalie Mayfield, Cheyenne Henderson, Jordan Burleigh, Kaylee Burleigh, Alex Burleigh, Brittney Williams, Kathalina Alhamdi, Lacey Walters, and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews
