As a young child, Debi always loved teaching. In her twenties she became an instructor of cosmetology, then in her forties she fulfilled her lifetime dream of becoming nurse. She graduated from McMurry University with her BSN, and went on to serve and care for the needs of those around her. Debra also enjoyed cross- stitching, needlepoint, and jig-saw puzzles, but her greatest pleasure was studying the word of God. Debra was a devoted Christian, served on medical missions, and was a generous and caring servant. She was preceded in death by her father; James L. Dillon, Sr.; brother, Robert P. Dillon; sister, Tamara J. Berry, and her grandparents. Debra is survived by her greatest joy in life; son, Brandon Jack Hudson and wife Kristin of Aurora, Colorado; mother, Sonja J. Atwood and stepfather Bill Atwood of Abilene, Texas. One brother, James L. Dillon, Jr. and wife Mary of Rangely, Colorado; sister, Cora Colleen Mullins (Co Co) and her husband Jeff of Bryan, Texas; four grandchildren, Aiden, Logan, Sage, and Wren Hudson; several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and a group of friends that she loved dearly. Not to forget her beloved cat, "Hannah". Debra was a member of the Cherokee Nation. Her favorite verses to rest and meditate on were: John 14: 1-3, Rev. 21: 3-4, and Phil. 4: 4-8.
