Debra Hopkins, 69, of Abilene passed away on Saturday, April 03, 2021. Services have been entrusted to North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange Street. Debra was born on August 7, 1951 in Jackson, Michigan to Charles and Eva (Blair) Newell. She worked for the Abilene State School for 29 years. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Ray Hopkins. Left to cherish her memories are: daughter, Tammy McDaniel; son, Brian McDaniel, and 6 amazing grandchildren.
