Demetrio Bellman 80 of Abilene, TX passed Tuesday November 17th, 2020 at his home. Visitation will be held Monday December 7, 2020 from 5-7pm at North's Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Tuesday December 8, 2020 at 1pm at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery with full Military Honors. Demetrio Bellman better knows as "DEE" was born in Eldorado TX, he received his primary education from Eldorado Public School and graduated from Eldorado High school. After High School year School Demetrio furthered his education by attending Angelo State University and received his Bachelors degree. After Graduating from Angelo State University he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served honorably for 22 years. Demetrio retired in 1984 and returned to Abilene in 1985. He was a well known umpire for many years, he loved to work and referee any sports over the years. Demetrio was preceded in death by his parents Martin and Prudencia Bellman, brother Miguel Belman, sisters Mary Torres and Emma Gonzalez. Left to cherish his memories are son Robert Bellman of Abilene, Ray Bellman of Abilene, daughter Elizabeth Ganesh of Abilene, the mother of his children Marcy Bellman of Abilene, siblings Hisidoro Belman Sr. of Eldorado, TX. Lydia Guerrero of San Angelo, TX. Linda Escobar of San Angelo, TX. Martin Belman of Poteet, TX. Josie Knight of Eldorado, TX. 10 grandchildren, and a host of extended family and many friends.
