SGT. Denis Thomas Randall Sr., age 72, died from Cardiac arrest on Sept. 4th, 2021, in Abilene, TX. Denis is survived by his wife Ruth Randall, of Abilene, Tx.; His son Denis Randall Jr. of Abilene, Tx.; his daughter, Rebecca Randall, of Abilene Tx.; his grandchildren, Denis Randall III, Justin O'Connor, Krystin Little, Logan O'Connor, and Morgan O'Connor; his sister Pauline Roller, of South Carolina, and his sister, Elaine Staples, of Connecticut He is preceded in death by his brother, David Randall Jr., of Abilene, Tx. Denis was born on Sept. 30, 1948, in Manchester, New Hampshire, to parents Theresa Turgeon and David Randall Sr. He graduated from Windham Regional Technical School in Willimantic, Connecticut with a diploma in electrical basics, he graduated 2nd in class which earned him a 2yr internship. He went on to Thomas Valley State Technical College, in Norwich Connecticut, which he was unable to complete due to joining the United State Air Force, and becoming SGT K-9 Patrolman. He served our country for 10yrs. Then worked as an electrician for the Majority of his career. Denis was a great family man and a loving father. He married Ruth in Willimantic, Connecticut and the couple had two children together. Denis was a social, active man who was deeply involved in the church Choir, Boys Scout, Boys Brigade, and the West Central Texas Gem and Mineral Society. His family and friends will always remember him as a humble family man that loved training dogs and teaching his electrical and other skills to others. A funeral is scheduled for Thursday September16, 2021 at 2pm at Texas State Veterans Cemetery Abilene, with Military Honors. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Denis' life.
