Deward "Nelson" Hector Jr. passed on to his Heavenly Father on Friday May 24 2013. His Memorial Service will be on June 7 th at 10am at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery. N. Hector Sr. and Dorothy Lorene Hector and his brother Willis Carter. He was survived by his son and daughter-in-law Joshua and Brandi Hector his grandson Johnathan Hector of Abilene; one brother and wife Otis and Juanita Carter of DeLeon; two sisters Eva Daniels of Llano and Debra Hector of Cisco TX; six nieces Donna Cox Jana Marks Libby Penney Marisa Sharrah DeDe Havner and Christina Arms; one nephew Christopher Carter; five great nephews and six great nieces and many beloved family members and friends. To say that Dad was a good man would be a great understatement. He was a generous caring and loving man who was always there for his family. Yes I said family because he considered his friends his family too. Memories fade as we get older so I choose to honor him with our actions as a friend and a father. Love you and will miss you Dad!
