Diego Mendez 19, of Abilene passed away Monday, March 23, 2026. Visitation will be held Friday, March 27, 2026, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at North's Funeral Home. Juan Diego Mendez, was born in Abilene, Texas to Gloria Lira and Bobby Mendez on July 6, 2006. He graduated from Abilene High School in May 2024. He was a joyous, loving and caring son, brother and friend. Nothing brought him more happiness than music and creating art. Juan Diego Mendez is survived by his brother Bobby Noe Mendez and his parents Gloria Lira and Bobby Mendez. He will be immensely missed and always loved.
