Don Meredith Martin 89, passed away on February 11, 2025 in Abilene, Texas, surrounded by his family. A memorial service will be held on February 19, 2025 at 1:00 PM at North's Funeral Home Chapel, 242 Orange Street, Abilene, Texas. Don was born in Loraine, Texas on June 26, 1935 to Curtis Harold and Cecil Martin. He graduated from Loraine High School and attended McMurry University. He married Byancie Spurrier on May 22, 1954. Don served in the United States Air Force before pursuing a career in the crude oil business. Don is survived by wife, Byancie; 2 sons, Randy Martin and wife, Darlene, Scot Martin and wife, Amy; brother, Stanley Martin; 7 grandchildren, Michelle Diltz and husband, BJ, Bethany Hudman and husband Jason, Baron Martin and wife, Lacy, Heather Martin, Britni Hunzinger and husband, Matt, Tod Martin, and Lexi Bloesch and husband, Mike; 15 great-grandchildren; a niece and several nephews.
