Donald "Don" Lee Roark of Winters, Texas, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023. He was 86 years old. Don was born in Springdale, Arkansas, on June 2, 1936, to William Lee and Elsie Mae Wright Roark. Don spent his working career in the oilfield industry. He was a history buff and enjoyed woodworking and making things for his family. Don was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Ora Lee Roark and Harold Roark, and two sisters: Ruby Mae Jordan and Clara Frances Haynie. Don is survived by Helen Roark, his wife of 67 years; sister Marjorie Lofgreen (Victor) of Nacogdoches, Texas; daughter Debra Roark of Winters, Texas; daughter Donna Watlington (Clifford) of Big Spring, Texas; son Bill Roark (Connie) of Tuscola, Texas; and daughter Marjorie Powell (Jim) of Texarkana, Texas. Don, affectionately referred to as "Papa", had eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
