Donald White MSgt. (Retired) USAF left us on Wednesday November 10 2010. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday at North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Elmwood Memorial Park with Greg Clemmer officiating under the direction of North's Funeral Home. Donald was born in Montoursville Pennsylvania on January 24 1930. He served in the US Air Force for over 20 years. He then worked another 20 plus years with the US Postal Service. A resident of Abilene for several decades Don was an avid bowler was active in the local VFW and was a special friend to many. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Nell White. He is survived by family members Theresa Mitchell of Colorado; Linda Howerton Timothy McCall Howard Harendt and John Harendt all of Abilene; Thomas White of North Carolina their spouses and children.
