Dora Davila Morgan, 77 years of age surrounded by her loved ones went to be with our Heavenly Father on July 12, 2024. She was born in Munday Texas to the late Manuel Davila and Leonor Alcala Davila on May 27, 1947. She attended school in Munday, Texas. She married Charles Edward Morgan on June 12, 1966, in Abilene, Texas and four children were born from this union. She graduated from Garland Beauty School in 1967 and attended Southwestern Assemblies of God College and was a member at University Assemblies of God Church in Waxahachie, Texas. She also served as a leader with the Daisies and Missionettes Ministries. She professed her life to serving Christ at an early age. She loved working in the church where she assisted her husband as a Pastors wife. She opened the first food bank at First Assembly of God Church in Clyde, Texas. She loved serving others. She worked at Davila's Beauty Salon on Mockingbird Lane in Abilene, Texas until 2003 when her health prevented her from providing her services. She will forever be remembered and loved. Dora Morgan was preceded in death by her husband Charles Edward Morgan, (Parents) Manuel and Leonor Davila, (Brothers) Tony Davila and David Davila. (Sisters) Esidora Avalos and Lucy Davila. Dora Morgan is survived by: (Daughter) Michelle Morgan Johnson and spouse Jason, (Daughter) Jennifer Morgan and spouse Johnny Flores, (Daughter) Heather Morgan, (Son) Charles Houston Morgan and spouse Leslie. (Brother) Manuel Davila, (Sister) Margaret Davila. Grandchildren: Michael Gonzales and spouse Angelia, Olivia Gonzales, Whitney Bellman and Alonso, Anthony Bellman and Bria, Kendal and Gabriela Morgan and Elias Morgan-Rodriguez, Carla and Justice Franco, Alisa, Phoenix, Brooklyn, Houston and Dallas Morgan. Great Grandchildren: Valerie, Michael Jr and Jeremy Gonzales, King and Aurora Garcia, Jose Jasso Jr., Annette, Aracely and Alonso Garcia. Isabella, Xander and Emory Bellman and Atticus Perry. Great Great Grandchild: Ellionna Smith-Gonzales and many nieces and nephews family members that meant so much to her to include Roxanna Davila and Amy Cazares. Visitation will beh held at North's Funeral Home 242 Orange St. Abilene, TX on Wednesday July 17, 2024 from 6:30-8:30pm. Memorial service will be held at The Church @ the Cross 3081 Edgemont Dr. Abilene, Texas on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 10:00 am. She will be laid to rest at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery where she will join her Husband and our Father. The family would like to express our sincerest appreciation to the Dr. Min Gao, Willow Creek Nursing and Rehab, with a special mention to Felicia for providing such good care to our mother, Hendrick Hospice and staff, Pastor Jared and Valarie Owen, and to all the members of the Church @ the Cross.
