Dorothy Fry, 89, of Abilene, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange Street. Services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. in North's Memorial Chapel with Claud Fry officiating with burial to follow in the IOOF Cemetery. Dorothy was born on September 6, 1924 to Albert and Media King Bristow in Rochester, Texas. She married K.C. Fry on July 18, 1948. She attended Draughn's Business College and worked for Foremost Dairies. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, K.C. Fry; great-grandson, Xavier Fry; daughter-in-law, Teresa Fry; grandson, K.C. Clinton Fry; great-great-granddaughter, Cricket Victoria Thornton. She is survived by her sons, Robert Fry, Claud Fry and wife, Donna; five grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild and many nieces and nephews. .
