Dorris Imogene ""Dottie"" Marshall went to be with the Lord on June 13 2009. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange Street Dr. Herb Wood officiating. Burial to follow at Central Cemetery Hawley Texas. Family and friends visitation will be Sunday 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at North's Memorial Chapel. Dottie was born October 15 1929 in the Hurlwood Community near Lubbock Texas to William and Julia Cupps. She was the youngest of nine children. She had five sisters and three brothers. She was raised in the Hawley Community and the family later moved to Abilene where she attended Abilene High. She married Harmon ""Rooster"" Marshall Jr. on August 26 1953. They had one son Tony Marshall. ""Rooster"" preceded her in death on May 22 2001. She was also preceded in death by her Mother and Daddy three brothers Ralph Cupps Dick Cupps and Alan Cupps and two sisters Beatrice Boyd and Audrey Deatherage. She is survived by three sisters Ruby Davis Billie Cotten of the home and Maude Rhodes of Abilene; one son Tony Marshall; three grandsons Tony William and Colton Marshall; one granddaughter Lauren Reese; three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
