Edward Garza of Abilene passed away Monday, March 9, 2020 in Abilene at Hendrick Hospice Care Center. Funeral Services will be held Saturday March 14, at 10am at St. Francis Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Elliot-Hamil Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday 6-8pm with Rosary at 7pm, at North's Funeral Home Chapel. Edward was born in Pawnee, TX to Parents Jose Garza and Trinidad Noyola-Garza, Edward moved to San Antonio at an early age and received his primary education from San Antonio public schools. Edward married the love of his life Maria Cardenas in Abilene in 1986. He loved to work on cars in his spare time, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. Edward was preceded in death by parents Jose and Trinidad Garza, brothers Armando Garza, Emilio Garza Joe Garza, Alfonso Garza. Grandchildren; Michael Navarrette Jr., and Luna Reign Navarrette. .
