Edward Lee Stevenson, age 78, passed from this life on Saturday, July 16, 2022. Graveside services will be held at 11am on Thursday, August 4th at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Abilene with Pastor Jami McCravey officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Air Force. Edward was born on December 26, 1943 in Abilene to Elmer L. and Ima Jean Stevenson and lived in the area his entire life. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force and did two tours of duty in Vietnam. Edward is survived by his daughter, Sheila Stevenson of Abilene; brothers, Greg Beatty of Abilene and Leland Beatty of Austin; grandchildren, Jessica Stevenson of Abilene, Shawna de La Fuenta of North Texas, Phillip Lott of Carrollton and 4 great grandchildren.
