Eldorado Leo Bolin 90 of Abilene passed away Wednesday September 16 2009. Entombment will take place at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on September 28. Arrangements are being handled by North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street. Leo was born September 26 1918 in Guthrie Oklahoma to Thomas and Eva Bolin. He was a WWII veteran who served in the US Army Medical Corp in North Africa and Italy. He was the recipient of six battle stars. He worked in security at Los Alamos National Laboratory for thirty-two years. He moved to Abilene in 1984. He was an avid baseball fan. He was preceded in death by his wife Katherine Bolin. He is survived by his two daughters: Alice Frankenfeld and Kathy Wisdom; 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
