Elenora "Nora" Gladden Anderson 81 of Abilene passed away July 4 2012 at a local nursing home. The family will be receiving guests Friday July 6 2012 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange Street . A Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday July 7 2012 also at North's Memorial Chapel with Dr. Herb Wood officiating. Burial to follow at Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street . Mrs. Anderson was born on August 17 1930 in Knox County to George Arnold and Adelia Cecelia Simonizh. She moved to Abilene as a young child. Nora married R.J. Gladden in November 1949 in Abilene Texas . She worked for Timex for thirty years. She was preceded in death by her parents husband and one sister. She is survived by daughter Vicki Gladden Lafosse; granddaughter Kristina Fowler and husband Chris of Abilene ; one very precious great-granddaughter Ainsley Fowler; sister Helen E.
