Eufemio Nilo, age 84 passed from this life on Saturday, April 13th, 2024. Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm, with a rosary at 7pm. on Friday, April 26th at North's Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be at 10am on Saturday at St. Francis Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Abilene City Cemetery. Eufemio was born on March 20th, 1940 to Hilario Nilo and Sabina Ramirez Nilo. He married Maria Casillas in 1979 and together they raised two sons, Hilario and Andres. Eufemio and Maria moved from California to Abilene in 2005. He worked as a ranch and farm hand. Eufemio was preceded in death by his parents, Hilario and Sabina Nilo and his siblings Angel Nilo, Dario Nilo, Demesio Nilo, Geronimo Nilo and Pracedes Nilo. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Maria; sons, Hilario Nilo, Andres Nilo and granddaughter, Angelica Aliyah Barbee.
