Evelyn Jean Cranfill 76 of Abilene died Saturday December 6 2008. Funeral Service will be Tuesday December 9 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Church of Christ with Sonny Guild and Bart Crisman officiating. Burial will follow in the Eula Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday December 8 2008 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange St. Evelyn was born February 8 1932 in Clyde Texas to Dick & Winnie Favor Jr. She married Garland Cranfill 11/26/1952 in Abilene Texas. She was a long time secretary for many businesses. She was a member of the Woodlawn Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school. Mrs. Cranfill was preceded in death by her parents. Evelyn is survived by her husband Garland; two daughters Dodie Cranfill of Abilene & Ellen Nevil of Irving; three grandchildren; two brothers Bob Favor of Clyde & Joe Favor of San Angelo; one sister Peggy Allen of Clyde; and several nieces and nephews.
