Evelyn T Keith, 89, of Abilene passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023. She was born on May 15th, 1934 in DeLeon, TX to Blanche (Carr) Taylor and Johnnie Reed Taylor. Raised in Abilene, Evelyn was a proud Abilene High School graduate and a staunch Dallas Cowboy fan. On May 15th, 1953, she married Bill Keith in Deming, New Mexico. Evelyn was a mother, homemaker and the management part of the team she and Bill built as they worked together in their family businesses - Keith Service Center and, in later years, The KC Café. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Marcia Faye (Skipper) Burnett, Mona Sue Moore and brother Johnnie Taylor. Evelyn is survived by son, Billy and wife Cathy of Caps, brothers Charles (Tucker) Taylor and wife Joyce of Abilene, Jack L Taylor and wife Martha of Abilene, Larry D Taylor and wife Jeanie of Belgium as well as multiple nieces and nephews. These include special nieces Susan Cavasos and Shanda Hinson. Visitation will be Thursday evening 6:00-8:00pm August 17th at North's Funeral Home located at 242 Orange Street Abilene. Graveside services will be held at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery 7457 W Lake Rd, Abilene, TX on August 18th at 10:00 AM.
