Obituary

Falby Hollomon Cauble passed away Thursday May 26 2011 in Abilene Texas.  Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange Street.  A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with Mike Greenfield officiating.  Mrs. Cauble was born in Camden Texas and graduated high school in Chester Texas.  She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Howard Payne University and a Masters from Southwestern Baptist Seminary.  She married Reverend Don Cauble on February 23 1951.  She was a retired teacher with Abilene Independent School District.  After retirement she volunteered with the Mission Services Corps of the Southern Baptist Convention serving on assignments in Zimbabwe Norway American Samoa Alaska and Thailand.  She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Alice Hollomon two sisters Helen Martin and Winnie Gray and two sons Ron Craig and Hollomon Keith.  Survivors include her husband Don Cauble; her son and daughter-in-law Ky and Lisa Cauble of Austin; two grandchildren Grace and Michael Cauble of Austin; one sister Georgia Haltom of Baytown: one brother Walter Hollomon of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial gifts be made to either the Ben Richey Boys Ranch Meals on Wheels The Salvation Army or to the donor's favorite charity.   Online condolences can be made at www.northsfuneralhome.com
