Frances G. Hermann passed away peacefully on February 25 2012 after a long fulfilling life of 91 years. Graveside service will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of North's Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street . She was born on February 3 1921 in Lake Charles Louisiana . She married E.J. (Sonny) Hermann on February 15 1942 in Austin Texas . He preceded her in death on November 25 2004 after sixty-three years of marriage. Frances taught at Cooper High School in Abilene Texas for more than twenty years. She then continued to teach at McMurry University and Dyess Air Force Base for another ten years. In addition to Sonny Frances was preceded in death by a son Ernest (Skipper) Hermann and a daughter Sandra Schlender. She is survived by daughters Frances Ann Rolison and husband Dale of Katy Texas and Peggy Sonnenberg and husband Reno of Graham Texas and son-in-law Paul Schlender of Seguin Texas . In addition Frances is survived by grandsons Kenneth Rolison and wife Julie Richard Rolison and wife Crystal Andy Sonnenberg and wife Ruth Troy Sonnenberg and Tony Sonnenberg. Her great-grandchildren are Wyatt and Lilly Rolison Kati and Abby Sonnenberg and baby boy Rolison.
