Frank Lopez Silvas of Abilene passed away June 13, 2022 in Abilene, TX. Funeral Services will be held Monday June 20, 2022 at 12 PM at Emmanuel Community Church. With Burial to follow at San Jose Burial Park in San Antonio, Texas Frank was born May 16, 1937 in Dilly, TX to Petra Silvas and Dionici Silvas. Frank received his primary education from Dilly schools. The family often moved when he was young, specifically working in Cotton fields. Frank never met a stranger. He loved going to Rose Park, and he loved jogging. He organized a local walking club. He always encouraged others to exercise and would often walk with those that were members of the club. He never met a stranger and loved to talk and tell jokes to those he encountered. He was always positive and always saw the good in others. Frank was preceded in death by his wife Maria Silvas, parents Dionicio and Petra Silvas, brother Lorenzo Silvas, and sister Oralia Moreno, Left to cherish his memories are: daughter, Belinda Silvas of Abilene, sons: David Silvas of Denton TX, Daniel Silvas of California, Don Silvas and wife Diana of Fort Worth, TX. Brother Inez Silvas and wife Louisa of Fort Collins CO, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and many friends.
