Freddie L. Kidwell 82 passed away Sunday April 19 2009 in Abilene. Services are pending with Young's Funeral Home in El Dorado Arkansas. Local arrangements are being handled by North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street. Mr. Kidwell was born in El Dorado Arkansas on February 15 1927 to the late Charles L. Kidwell and Ruth Wyman. He graduated from El Dorado High School and the University of Arkansas. He worked as a mechanical engineer for the Abilene State School for twenty-nine years and was registered as a Professional Engineer in Arkansas. He served in the Army during World War II at the age of eighteen. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Robert P. Kidwell Raymond L. Kidwell Roy G. Kidwell and Donald G. Kidwell. He is survived by his wife: Cozy M. Kidwell of Abilene Texas; his sons: Rory David Kidwell of Abilene Keith A. Kidwell of Emory Texas; his daughter: DeWanda K. Dunahoo of Sulphur Springs Texas; his grandchildren: Jamie V. Kidwell Amy V. Kidwell David V. Kidwell and Michael L. Kidwell; and his great-grandchildren: Adrianna and Cody M. Kidwell.
