Garland Martin Cranfill passed from this life on September 4 2013 in Abilene Texas. Visitation will be Friday September 6 2013 from 5-7 p.m. at North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street. Services will be Saturday September 7 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Woodlawn Church of Christ in Abilene with burial to follow in the Eula Cemetery. Mr. Cranfill was born in Mitchell County Texas on January 03 1931 to Odis and Lila Lindsey Cranfill. He married Evelyn Favor on November 26 1952 while he was serving in the United States Air Force. He owned and operated Cranfill Insurance Agency in Abilene for a number of years. Evelyn preceded him in death on December 6 2008. He was also preceded in death by two infants Ruth and Lindsey his brother Kenneth and his parents. He is survived by two daughters: Madora Lee (Dodie) Cranfill of Abilene Ellen Gaye Nevel and husband Brad of Fort Worth; Brother and Sister-in-Law Bob and Beth Favor of Clyde Texas Sister-in-Law Connie Cranfill of Colorado City Texas Sister and Brother-in-Law Peggy and John Allen Brother and Sister-in-Law Joe and Terry Favor of San Angelo Texas; Grandchildren: Tiffany Wesley and Hadley Nevel and numerous nieces and nephews.
