Gary Shawn Dixon Sr. 48 of Houston formerly of Abilene, passed away on November 12, 2020 in Houston TX, Graveside Service will be held Tuesday November 24, 2020 at 11am at the Abilene City Cemetery. Gary was born December 17, 1971 in Goree TX to parents Jessie Dixon and Mary Richardson. he recieved his primary education from Goree public schools graduating from Goree High School in the early 90's. After High School, Gary received a basketball scholarship to attend Ranger College. He was a very outgoing, loving and kind person who will be missed by many. Gary was preceded in death by both parents, brothers: Larry Dixon, Danny Dixon, Don Dixon, Richard Dixon, and Jessie Dixon Jr. left to cherish his memories are sons: Gary Dixon Jr., and Desmon Dixon both of Wisconsin, daughter Asja Dixon of Wichita Falls, sisters: Dorothy Dixon of Abilene, Shirley Lewis of Abilene, Linda Dixon, of Abilene, Killie Sheilds of Munday, TX, Lena Dixon of Houston, and Hellen Breedlove of Waco. Brothers Otis Dixon of Abilene, Spencer Dixon of Corsicana L.C. Dixon of Abilene numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
