Gary Bruce Kin 66 years old, formerly of Garland, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2022 in Abilene Texas.

A visitation will be at12pm on Friday October 28, 2022 followed by a rosary from 12pm-1pm then a prayer service from 1pm-2pm at North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street in Abilene ,TX 79604 with Father Adam of Holy Family Catholic Church, officiating.

Honors and Inurnment will be at Dallas-Forth Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas on Friday November 4, 2022 at 10:15am.

Gary Bruce Kin was born in Paterson, New Jersey, to Oscar Raymond Kin, Sr. and Florence Rita Van Riper on March 13, 1956. He joined the US Air Force in 1973, where he met the love of his life of 49 years, Adela (Biera). Over the years, he had many careers, but was most proud of his work in the Air Force as a Security Specialist Airman of the 9th Strategic Air Command guarding the SR-71 Blackbird, as a shipping supervisor at Nortex Greenhouses and owning his own business, A&G Landscaping. Gary was always there to help family and friends with household projects or anything else people needed him.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Florence and step-mother Dolores.

Gary is survived by his wife Adela; his children, Jennifer Kin, Aaryn (Steve) Pratt, Jessica Kin, Rebecca (Johnny) Davallo ; brothers, Oscar, Jr., Kenneth, Jimmy, Leopoldo and Michael; sisters Marianne, Deborah, and Karen; grandchildren Justin, Michaela, John, Maya, Lauren and Amelia; 11 grandpups; and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
