George Eldred Avrett, of Abilene passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015. A Graveside Service will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Central Cemetery, Hawley, Texas under the direction of North's Funeral Home. George Avrett was born August 18, 1944 in Abilene, Texas to Ernest Avrett and Margaret Gales. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Dorothy White, brother, Horace Avrett, and nephew, Steven Howerton.
