George Robert Jackson, Jr., affectionately known as "GR", passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 11, 2022, while at his home in Lake Worth, Texas. George was born December 28, 1983, in Camp Springs, Maryland, to Ann Gerow Jackson and George Robert Jackson, Sr. During his primary education, George attended Wylie ISD, the Marine Military Academy, and ultimately graduated from James Madison High School. After high school, George searched for excitement and independence, working and traveling all over Texas, until he settled in the Fort Worth area. This is where he would meet a young lady, Amber, who would become the mother of his child. Becoming a father was transformative for George and would change his life forever. He cherished his role as Journey's dad above all else, and his values were deeply rooted in the importance of family. George was preceded in death by both his father, George Robert Jackson, Sr., and his mother, Ann Gerow Jackson. Left to cherish his memories are: his daughter Journey Ann, and her mother Amber Bramson, his niece Piper Ann, his sister Jennifer Greer and her husband Jonathan, as well as an array of friends from all walks of life.
