George was born June 19, 1968, in Stamford, Texas, to Susana Garza and Margarito Carmona Rodriguez. George was known for his happy spirit, outgoing personality, and ability to make everyone around him feel welcome. He never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. He loved to joke around, goof off, and bring laughter wherever he went.
George was a devoted sports fan and proudly cheered on the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. He enjoyed watching sports and spending time outdoors, especially when he could go fishing. George also loved to dance and enjoyed going out to eat, making memories with the people he loved along the way.
For many years, George was a valued employee of Al's Mesquite Grill, where he became a familiar and friendly face to many. His sociable nature and genuine kindness made him someone who was easy to know and even easier to love.
Above all, George cherished his family, especially his grandchildren, who were truly the joy of his life. He took great pride in being a grandfather and enjoyed being involved in their lives. George even served as a coach for his grandchildren's Little League team, creating special memories they will carry with them for years to come.
George will be remembered for his infectious happiness, playful sense of humor, generous heart, and the way he could make people feel like family. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
George Rodriguez Sr. was preceded in death by his beloved father, Margarito Carmona Rodriguez.
