Gerald "Butch" Crawford 63 of Stamford Texas passed away Thursday December 31 2009 at a local hospital after a brief illness. Honoring Butch's wishes his body was cremated and there will be no services held. North's Funeral Home 242 Orange St. handled the arrangements. Butch was born September 30 1946 in Seymour Texas to Frank and Alice (Moore) Crawford. He was employed by Lawrence Brothers Grocery in Hamlin Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister June. He is survived by his wife Shelley two sons: Kevin Crawford and wife Dolores of Abilene Brian Crawford and wife Tina of Stamford Texas. Two brothers; Jack Crawford of Brawley California and Jay Crawford of Seymour Texas. One sister Ann Adkins of Graham Texas. Six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
