Geraldine Lucille ( Jerry) Gebhardt Fourment 87 of Abilene died peacefully in her sleep in Sugar Land Texas on February 29 2012. A Memorial service will be held Saturday March 17 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul United Methodist Chapel under the direction of North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street with the Reverend Bob Kelley presiding. Ms. Fourment was born March 31 1924 in Des Moines Iowa to Arthur Eugene and Lela Marie (Brooker) Fourment. She graduated from high school in Mission Texas in May of 1942. She moved to Abilene in 1950. She worked at the Loom and Needle in Burro Alley for sixteen years and was also the manager of Commerce Plaza for five years.   She is survived by her former husband Arthur Fourment; one son and his wife Richard and Temple Fourment formerly of Abilene; two daughters Pat Fourment Cooley and her husband Joe Paul Cooley of Sugar Land Texas and Susan Evans of Bluffdale Texas; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.   In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
