Glenda Kaye Riley 65 was born on October 19, 1956 in Dallas Texas. She passed on July 10, 2022 in Abilene, Texas surrounded by loved ones. She is proceeded in death by her loving husband Travis Riley and she is survived by two sons, Trevor Riley of Brenham, Texas and Mark and Stephanie Riley of San Antonio, Texas her 6 grand children, Kiana Baldridge of Katy, Texas, Layla Riley of Sherman, Texas, Emma Riley of Huntersville, North Carolina, Isabella Riley of Katy, Texas, Stella Riley of San Antonio, Texas, and Cooper Riley of San Antonio, Texas. Her 2 great grand children Jonathan Riley and Gianna Misher. she is also survived by her amazing mother Peggy Ballard of Breckenridge, Texas, her lovely and compassionate sister Donna Howerton of Berryville, Arkansas and her loving brother James Ballard of Bay City and her 2 nephews Chase Howerton and Chance Howerton and their beautiful families. Glenda had pretty simple beginnings in a small town in Texas and in her teens she moved abroad with her family as her father was working in the oil field. It was while living abroad that she encountered and fell in love with the love of her life, Travis Riley. The two were married at the Rock of Gibraltar in 1973. They later moved about and settled in Blessing, Texas. Here they enjoyed their life and loved spending time with family and grand children and were a part of a wonderful church family. After the passing of her husband she moved around a little and finally settled in her home town, Breckenridge, Texas. Here she had her mother and other extended family. Glenda loved her two sons and their children deeply, although distance didn't allow frequent visits. In her heart she loved and adored all of her children and grandchildren. She was loved and will be greatly missed.
