Gloria Garcia aka Shorty passed away Thursday December 5, 2024 in Abilene, TX. Visitation will be held Sunday December 8, 2024 from 5-6pm with Rosary to be held at 6pm. Gloria born in Brownfield, TX to parents Trinidad R. and Susie C. Garcia on January 25th, 1954. She attended McCaulley Schools, and she graduated from Evergreen Colorado. She was involved in pep-squad for McCaulley Junior High. She worked for Foam Craft in Sweetwater, TX for 15 years. After that she became a correctional officer for 25 years. Gloria Garcia was proceeded in death by her parents her brothers Joe, Trine, Tony, and Jimmy Garcia one sister Alicia Garcia Perez and 3 nephews. Gloria Garcia is survived by 2 sisters Mary Helen and Linda Masiel of Abilene, TX, and one special nephew Michael Garcia along with other nieces and nephews.
