Grace V. Griswold 82 of Abilene passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family . Graveside services will be held Tuesday April 26, 2022 at 1pm at Tye Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday April 25 at North's Funeral home from 5-7pm

Grace was born January 4, 1940 in Platteville, CO to Loveta Boutcher and John W. Boutcher. Grace received her primary education from Platteville schools. The family moved often farming cotton, Grace relocted to the Abilene area in the early 90's and woud remain unitl her passing, She was a long time resident of Tye Texas. Grace loved painting and gardening and she loved cooking for family and friends. Grace loved to be outside watching the butterflies and hummingbirds.

Grace was preceded in death by parents John and Loveta Boutcher, brothers; Dan Boutcher, and Johnny Boutcher.

Left to cherish her memories are: daughter, Delois Reeves and husband Eric of Abilene, Teresa Sageser and husband Timothy of Haskell, Brenda Lester and husband Drew of Abilene, 9 grandchildren; Brandon Campsey, Briana Cunningham, Justin Wiggs, Timothy Hughes, Ashley Hughes, Zack Stifflemire, Delana Lawler, Cory McBride, and Jennifer McBride.12 great grandchildren, sisters Anita Thorne of North Carolina, Verna Broom and husband Skeeter, and a host of extended family and many friends.
