Harla Ann Hale, age 68 passed from this life on Monday, November 21st, 2022 surrounded by her family. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 26 from 11am to 1pm followed by a Celebration of Harla's life at 1pm at North's Funeral Home. Harla was born on June 25th, 1954 in Anchorage, Alaska to Harlan and Ruth Cleveland and came to Abilene in 1979. She was the manager of Steak and Egg Kitchen in Abilene, and would often have all of her children helping out on the weekends. Harla loved to cook for her family and friends and enjoyed reading romance novels. She was full of life and had a strong will, once she set her mind to doing something, nothing could stop her. Harla was a devoted mother to her five children and her home was always open to anyone who needed her. She was preceded in death by her parents Harlan and Ruth Cleveland. Harla is survived by her children, Michael Webb, Tony Webb, and wife Cassy, Tangalee Webb, Doug Roberts, all of Abilene and James Roberts, and wife Kimberly of Hawley; siblings, Sharon Walls, and husband Hal of Oklahoma, Sara Podwika, and husband Tom of Oklahoma and Steve Cleveland and wife Leann of Plano; 14 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
