Harlan Veston Hardwick 40 passed away Monday January 15 2007. Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday at South Side Baptist Church with Mike Woodard and Kevin Ueckert officiating. Burial to follow in Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of North's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at North's Funeral Home 242 Orange St. Mr. Hardwick was born March 31 1966 to Kerry and Patricia Hardwick in Abilene Texas. He was a 1984 graduate of Cooper High School. He married Kerry T. Sineri July 13 1985 in Abilene. He received his Bachelor's degree in Special Education from ACU. He taught in the AISD for 20 years. He received the Teacher Tribute Award in September 2005. Harlan was active in the ROTC while in high school. He was a member of Southwest Park Baptist Church for 25 years and at the time of his death was a member of South Side Baptist Church. He was an avid fan and collector of Star Wars and Nascar. Harlan was a devoted son husband father and teacher. He was preceded in death by his sister Rachel Ann Hardwick; maternal grandfather L.V. Lindsey and paternal grandparents; Harlan and June Hardwick of Apollo Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife Kerry T. Hardwick; three children Jennifer Tristan and Luke of the home; parents Kerry M. and Pat Hardwick; father-in-law James Sineri of Tittusville Florida mother-in-law Shirley Sineri of Orlando Florida. Numerous uncles aunts cousins and loving friends.
