Harold Eldon "Bubba" Litton 63 of Abilene, TX. passed away on Wednesday August 7th, 2024. A Memorial service will be held Saturday August 17th, 2024 at 10am, at North's Funeral Home Chapel located at 242 Orange St. Abilene,TX. with Pastor Griffin Jones officiating, burial of his cremated remains will take place immediately following the service, at the Abilene City Cemetery. Eldon was born on March 22nd, 1961 in Kermit TX to Bill and Freda (Hicks) Litton. He and his Mother eventually moved to Abilene where he graduated from Cooper High in 1979, and went on to study Finance and Computer Science at Hardin Simmons University. Eldon was an avid researcher, willing to help others with projects around their house and was well rounded in many skills that he learned from his Father. He was also known to tell funny jokes that were even funnier because of his contagious laugh. In his early years he worked in Puerto Rico as a Computer Assisted Draftsman mapping the power grid, later as a Customer Service Associate for Lowe's Home Improvement and as a Technician for Ecolab. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his dog Luna, liked to fish (was an excellent fisherman!) and looked forward to growing a nice garden each year. Eldon was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memories are: his brother Bill Litton and longtime companion Ana of Incline Village Nevada. Niece: Shonna Brown and husband Adam of Hampstead NC. Nephew: William "Trey" Litton III and wife Nicole of Saginaw TX. Grandniece: Kaila Brown of Hampstead NC. and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and friends. The family would like to give a special thanks to those who encouraged and assisted Eldon during his health struggles over the past couple of years.
