Hector Martin 47, of Abilene passed away Friday, August 14, 2026 with family by his side. Hector was born January 12, 1979 in Abilene TX. to Herlinda Rodriquez and Felipe Martin Sr. Hector received his primary education from Abilene public schools.

He worked for Martin Sprocket and Gear as a warehouse associate for the last 22 years. Hector enjoyed family time, cook outs with friends, and of course watching his team the Dallas Cowboys. He also didn't mind getting his hands dirty and working under the hood or working on his other projects.

Above all his pride and joy were his three sons and his one and only granddaughter Rainbow. Hector truly treasured the moments he spent with them.

Hector was proceded in death by his brother Felipe Martin Jr., grandparents, Jesus Rodriquez, Virginia Andrade; Adrian Martinez and Augustina Herrera.

Left to cherish his memories are sons, Hector Martin Jr. of San Antonio, Xavier Martin of Phoenix, AZ, Elijah Martin of Phoenix, AZ; granddaughter Lomani Rainbow Martin; mother Herlinda Hernandez (Paul) of Abilene; father Felipe Martin Sr. of San Angelo; fiance Jennifer Cortinaz Guzman of Abilene; siblings, Adrian Torres (Salvador) of Hawley, Carlos Martin (Lydia) of San Angelo, Joe Martin (Christine) of San Angelo, Josue Gonzalez, Vianey Gonzalez, Claudia Gonzalez, Lorena Gonzalez, Melly Siller (Luis), Yuditt Delgado (Luis) all of Abilene Barbara Felan of San Angelo, Jose Alfredo Gonzalez of México and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
