Obituary

Helen Ruth Fullbright 87 of Abilene went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday February 06 2007. Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church with Pastor LaVern Janssen officiating. Burial will follow in Tye Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home 242 Orange St. Ms. Fullbright was born March 13 1919 in New York City New York to Italian immigrant parents who died a short time after her birth. She was adopted by Andrew and Cleo Ucker and raised in Fayetteville Arkansas. She attended the University of Arkansas where she studied music. She was a homemaker for many years. She worked for Western and Southern Insurance Company until retirement. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church where she was the choir director. She served on the board of director's and social ministry. She was also a member of Lutheran Women's Mission League. She loved cooking for family and friends and enjoyed music. She was preceded in death by her parents one son H.D. Fullbright Jr. She is survived by one daughter; Mary Donaldson and husband Mike of Tye Texas one son; Jim Burnett and wife Angie of Fayetteville Arkansas; grandchildren; Lisa Calvert and husband Marty of Abilene Michael Burnett and wife Traci Jay Burnett Nikki Weybright and husband Ben; four great-grandchildren; Katie Calvert Michael Calvert Jacob Burnett and Zachary Weybright. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Hendrick Hospice and to the staff of Coronado Alzheimer's Unit.
