Helen Hackney 72 of Denver City Texas went to heaven on Monday September 1 2009. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at North's Memorial Chapel with Pastor Charles Farina Sr. officiating. Burial to follow in Dudley Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home 242 Orange St. Ms. Hackney was born July 19 1937 in Spur Texas to Cecil and Viola Blanscet. She married Hilton ""Hack"" Hackney on October 25 1952 in Clovis New Mexico. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents husband son and one grandson. She is survived by four daughters; Sandy Beggs and husband James of Abilene Sue Boggs and husband Bo of Denver City Texas Sherry Harris of Clyde and Charlotte Boggs and husband Johnny of Breckenridge Texas. One son; Pat Hackney of Lawton Oklahoma step-dad L. J. McCall. Two sisters four brothers and numerous grandchildren great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
