Henry A. Stillwell 87 of Abilene passed away Sunday February 17 2008. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor John Tunnell officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of North's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange St. Mr. Stillwell was born April 22 1920 to Frank and Viola Stillwell in Woodstock Vermont. He married Irene Bivens September 30 1948. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1962 after twenty-one years of Service. He is a Veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He moved to Abilene in 1962 and worked at Valley Faucet – U.S. Brass for twelve years and retired in 1978. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; Frank and Viola Stillwell and one brother Al Stillwell. He is survived by his wife Irene Stillwell of Abilene; two daughters Donna Boyles and husband Ted of Midland Texas and Diane Long and husband Dale of Abilene. Two sisters Pat Foley of Abilene and Lois Bentley of Merced California. Four grandchildren; Jeff Boyles and wife Sara of Abilene Byron Long and wife Evelyn of Abilene Evan Long of Abilene and Jennifer Carey of Abilene.
