Herlinda Jean Lopez of Abilene passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Hendricks Hospital North. A Graveside Services will be held at Abilene Municipal Cemetery at 1pm Wednesday October 20, 2021. Herlinda was born October 25, 1961 in Abilene, TX to Virginia Gonzales and Seferino M. Cortinez Sr.. Herlinda Lopez was a big " Big Sister." The one that was there when no one else was there to take care of you. She had a strong personality, was a strong individual and made it a point to be there when she was needed. She married Daniel Lopez Jr. and together they had 3 children. She had a gift for young people and children. Herlinda worked on and off throughout the years as a caregiver. She was a wife, mother, home maker and a loving sister, she was a member at the Graham St. Church of Christ. Herlinda was preceded in death by; father Seferino M. Cortinez Left to cherish her memories are: her mother Virginia G. Gonzales, two brothers; Seferino Cortinez Jr, David Cortinez, one sister; Sylvia Villareal, all of Abilene, Her spouse Daniel Lopez Jr., two sons; Daniel J Lopez, Johnathon S.
