Howard Fred Ice, 50, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas. Howard commonly known as Fred, was born May 6, 1963 to Howard George Ice and Fredda Mae Saltzman Ice in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. In 1982, Fred graduated from Cooper High School. He married Tamara Sue Charnick November 29, 1985 and had two sons together: Matthew Allen Ice, born November 26, 1986 and Daniel James Ice, born November 14, 1990. On July 1, 2004, he remarried to Stephanie Lindauer. They spent 10 wonderful years together running Ice Entertainment. His father, Howard, and his first wife, Tamara Ice, preceded him in death. Fred was also preceded in death by both paternal grandparents, W. H. and Myrtle Ice, and maternal grandparents, Fred and Dollie Saltzman. Fred is survived by his mother, Fredda Morse; his wife, Stephanie Ice; his sons, Daniel and Matthew Ice; stepdaughter, Tiffany Lindauer; his sister, Deborah Ice and Brother-in-law, Albert Denny. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Ethan Herron and Riley Herron. Funeral Services will be at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Southwest Park Baptist Church in Abilene. Visitation for family and friends will from 5:00-7:00 pm on Friday, April 4, 2014 at North's Funeral Home. Memorial will be held after services at the Xiled Clubhouse located at 2501 East Highway 80.
