Hugh Ellis Orcutt Jr., 69, of Abilene passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024. Graveside Services will be held at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Hugh was born June 18, 1955 in San Bernardino, CA to Shirley Hargrove and Hugh Ellis Orcutt Sr.. He married Joyce Lee Stacy on April 19, 1977 and they were married for 46 years until her passing. Hugh held a deep sense of pride in his status as a veteran and in his service to his country. He concluded his career with the United States Air Force after two decades of dedicated service. Hugh was preceded in death by; wife, Joyce Orcutt; both of his parents, Hugh and Shirley Orcutt. Left to cherish his memories are: brothers; Edward Orcutt and David Orcutt, sisters; LaDona Orcutt and Susan Orcutt, and a host of family and friends.
