Inez Tucker, 96, of Abilene, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017. Services will be Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in North's Memorial Chapel with James Nelly officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park, under the direction of North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange Street. Inez was born June 10, 1920 to Lee Edgar and Dosha (Griffin) Anderson in Gatesville, Texas. She was married to Roy Tucker on August 27, 1936. They began their life together in Abilene, Texas where they raised five children. Inez and Roy were married for a wonderful sixty-two years. Inez was a member of Second Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Tucker, several brothers and sisters, and two grand children, Dirk Moore and Glenn Moore. Inez is survived by her son Ronnie Tucker (wife Carolyn), daughter Peggy Watkins (husband Ronald), Betty Moore, Karon Baird and Pam Lee. Twelve grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great great grand children.
