Ivery Colbert, Jr. "Meaty", age 31 of Abilene, went home to the Lord on April 24, 2020. Viewing will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2020 from 11am until 5pm at North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange St. Ivery was born on October 24, 1988 in Abilene to Ivery and George Gambrell Colbert. He always brought laughter to everyone and always kept it real about everything. Everybody loved to have him around. All the kids loved him and he loved kids, Ivery is survived by his mother, George A. Lang; father, Raymond Brown; brothers, Lamont Gambrell and wife Shanda, Franky Gambrell, Craig Lang, Tony Colbert and Larry Colbert; sisters ,Geneva Hunter and husband Charles, Georgia Rae Jackson and husband Tommy, LaToya Colbert and husband Cruse and Cindy Jordan and husband Aaron Sr,. He was preceded in death by his father, Ivery Colbert, Sr. "Flesh gone back to the Earth, from which it came from but spirit will ALWAYS live with us"
